My doctor recommended surgery to remove the gallbladder. Any idea on the bill of the average hospital waiting for surgery? I am in Connecticut. Thanks

You can check w / the hospital, you free of charge in May of charges per day, per hour anesthesia. Yes, there is a big difference when you go home the same day or stay. Anesthesia fees and charges are separate surgeons from the hospital. It is rather short, just before the operation. Just to give you a rough estimate probably 5-15,000.
If you have any health insurance, get ready, between 12 and 20 thousand U.S. dollars, depending on the type of surgery and length of hospital stay. When you go home the same day will be close to 12 miles if you were in the night, spend the 30 miles or more.
